“The Box”, mother/son “remix”
First let me say, this is awesome. Mother and Son collab together to make an acoustic remix to a trap music #1 hit record…
Now, with that out the way… I get a message from the Wife and there’s no caption on it. She sends me stuff all the time but I was busy at the time so I thought I’d just circle back to it later… So here we are chillin on the couch and I pull up twitter to see whats trending and I see this video…
I start playing it and immediately shout “NOOOOOO!!!”
She goes, “You finally opened my message??”
I go back to her message and sure enough it’s the same dern video.
I start cryin…. why cant we have just one thing! She even over here swappin the N***a (which I dont say (often lol)) with the word “neighbor”??? What in the entire grilled cheese sandwich is going on!?!
Do they even know what they are saying???
Do they know what the seal they pouring out is?
Do they even know what THE BOX is??
Do they know what wipe a “neighbor” nose means??
They up here talkin street life like it’s a walk in the park… smh
Anyway, I rocks with Roddy Ricch even though he stole my stage name, RoddyJ, and remixed it lol. But when “The Box” hit #1 on the billboard early 2020, it beat out Justin Beiber’s “Yummy” after ole buddy had been off the grid for like 8 years.
I bet that hurt Bieber’s feelings… but Pop culture must have taken that to mean they should be trending elsewhere…
