When you feel like you have achieved something great but no one recognizes you… not your family or friends, not your managers or co-workers, not your coach or teammates… it feels like you did all that for nothing.
Just remember 3 things:
1. Don’t do things for the sake of recognition, let everything you do have a greater purpose of expression and service to society. That way you wont expect to be recognized and won’t be disappointed.
2: Only real can recognize real, maybe the people you are seeking recognition from aren’t really 100 themselves.
3: Remember this, God sees all your good deeds and that’s the only recognition you’ll ever truly need. Billions around the world don’t recognize Jesus Christ (Yeshua), for His sacrifice, the greatest contribution to mankind to date. Trust me, I bet it makes him sad but not for the sake of being famous. Remain humble and give praise and worship to God for all of your achievements for it was through His mercy that you have been obliged such honors in your life.
I had to ask one of my business partners what #TGBTG meant, I kept seeing it in his posts… “To God be the Glory” he replied. I’ve been using that hashtag ever since….
The more I give God the glory instead of wanting the recognition for myself, the more I am blessed. The more I am blessed the more I give the glory. The more I give the glory to God, the more I am blessed…
This reminds me of the wealth building formula cash, asset, cash. Invest your humbleness in the Lord and watch him give you a rate of return that you can invest more of your humbleness with.
I hope that inspires someone out there to keep fighting the good fight even though nobody seems notice!
