You’re Not Great at Selling? Ok, I’m Sold…

Many times in my network marketing career, people will say something like:

“I’d do it, but I’m really not that great at selling…” or “I’m not into sales…” or “I don’t want to chase people trying to get them to buy something…”

If you can sell me on the idea that you aren’t great at selling, then guess what…  you are great at sales! Mind-blowing right? But wait, there’s more…

Have you ever landed a job after the interview?  Got out of a speeding ticket? Got an extra serving in the lunch line or restaurant? Well guess what, you as good at sales as you need to be… the best part is that you don’t have to be great to get started… but you have to get started to become great!

The wealthiest individuals in the nation are in sales so try to keep an open mind and don’t let that mentality hold you back from getting out of the Rat Race!

Don’t limit your income by limiting your thinking! Our thoughts are our only roadblocks, everything else is just false expectations appearing real (FEAR).

Now let’s think about this…

What I really hear when someone says, “I’m not good at selling anything” is “No one has ever taken time to teach me sales…”

It’s true! Everything you need to learn to be great at sales can be taught even though some people are born with a natural ability of influence. Being in sales simply means: Being a trustworthy individual who can add value to another person’s purchasing decisions.

Simple as that! You don’t have to wear a suit and tie to be trustworthy.  And with the right team behind you, you will become confident and knowledgeable enough to add value!

The Value added Business Model:

The Product or Service costs $4 to make.
The Store or Website needs to make $1 per sale to keep the lights on.
The Manager or Sponsor makes $1 per sale their sales people make.
The Salesperson makes $2 per sale.
The Consumer ends up paying $8 for the product or service sold to them by a sales person.

In this model, the consumer spends $8 on a product or service that costs $4 to make.  Have you ever heard that stores “mark-up” the prices?? This is why. The salesperson gets a piece for adding value by recommending the product, saving the consumer time and by limiting the chance for the buyer to be unhappy with their decision later (buyer’s remorse).  The manager (or sponsor in network marketing) gets a small piece from all the sales that a salesperson makes for teaching and leading them to do their job well.  The store or website gets a piece so they can pay for overhead costs etc.  The rest of the money goes to the manufacturer or service provider.

Now, imagine being a sponsor and getting paid a small percentage of what your salespeople do!  Imagine growing your sales force year after year. Training and inspiring them along the way… How long do you think you’ll work before you could retire?? Think about it, even Bill Gates has only 168 hours a week.  Stop trading your hours for dollars and start earning residual commission and overrides by leveraging the work of others (PS. that’s what your boss does at work anyway, so don’t feel bad lol).

If you are just a consumer in America, you are missing out! To make up for all the extra money that you spend on marked-up products, why not sell a product/service too! With my company I add value to others by saving them money on things that they are already buying.  I also help them get out of debt using their current income.  I do a lot to increase a person’s overall financial picture and even help them get fit with health supplements that are geared to increase their health.  I don’t have to chase people down, I do a lot of marketing like a regular business would and the results are taking off!  See you on the other side!
